Precisely. Self-diagnosing is dangerous. I want to help but apparently when real help is presented this kid doesn’t want it. So obviously, there must not be a real problem - just attention seeking sadness.

Holy fuck this is actually so far from true????? I don’t know what experience you have from medical professionals but

1. There are a wide variety of the way panic attacks can present themselves and UNLESS YOU ARE THERE you will have ZERO idea what the physical symptoms are, which is a PRIMARY way to determine what is happening

2. Second, you DO NOT WANT TO HELP SOMEONE IF YOU DECIDE TO CONTINUE TO HARASS THEM AND DECLARE THEM A FAKE

What has done SO MUCH MORE DAMAGE to people with mental illnesses that I have known personally is NOT people who fake it but BEING ACCUSED OF FAKING. Unless you are 100% CERTAIN that this person is NOT suffering in any way you are doing TREMENDOUS harm and you need to reevaluate your entire perspective on the mental health community.

Of which I am a member. I’ll just keep offering help until one of the many meds i am on makes me forget to.

But that’s the thing…you weren’t offering help, not genuinely at least. When a minor didn’t offer a stranger information on their location you called him a fake and decided to incorrectly analyze his situation to continue ridiculing him and attempting to discredit him. This is not professional and is unhelpful. I don’t know what part of the medical profession you are a member of but I would ask that you not do this again to someone that describes symptoms to you. That is damaging and backward.

Please leave Dio alone.

How do you know I’m not genuine? That’s pretty unfair. What if, in the whole of Dio’s world there is no one offering help. Then I come along and want to help, am able to help, but Dio listens to your words in the back of their mind going “she’s not genuine…”

And so, Dio continues to suffer. 😞

Okay, I appreciate what you think you’re doing. But you can’t blame me for not wanting help from a stranger who calls
me fake and associates with someone who harassed me? Honestly! And you act as though it is so easy. I can’t just walk into therapy. There are things preventing me that you will never know nor will I ever tell them to a stranger. Please, give it up. Also “how do you know im not genuine” How do you know I am faking? Hypocritical much?
